Well, now I'm having second thoughts about that Saito. The best way to fit one, using a 90 degree angle exhaust header and a flex pipe (so I don't have to carve up the cowling to clear the standard muffler) would be fine... but those flex pipes just don't last, they start leaking, etc.

OTOH, a big two-stroke with a Pitts muffler would be a lot less hassle to deal with. I would truly love a new OS 61SF, back when those were wonderful engines. They have been long gone, unfortunately. I'm wondering if the current .65AX or .75AX are decent motors. Any body have much experience with either of those motors? I've used a Bisson Pitts muffler on an OS 46SF; those things are pretty much bullet-proof.

Another thing; in the heat/humidity here (south Louisiana), four strokes do better with 30% fuel; particularly Saitos. I've still got a case or two, but that stuff is over $30 a gallon now.

Anyway... I've got a bit before I'm ready to start on the 'Bolt, so I'm up for ideas.
