I have been meaning to get back on here just to say that I am in no way blaming anyone for this happening. Richard has been nothing but helpful to me and I also recommended him to another friend of mine that is also happy with his work. I have just made the decision to retire this engine and replace it with something that will be reliable. It is on a Gee Bee Z and I really need an engine that I can rely on. I will get it apart soon because I will be putting a DLE 35RA on the Gee Bee. This plane has been built for almost four years and I have very few flights on it because of this engine.
I am curious as to what happened, and I may even try to make a new rod for it and get it running again. I will let you know what I find as soon as I know.
