Well after the last boat went across the lake with the supposedly built in failsafe system, I would never trust it again. If a separate one was to burn up, I would much rather have that then over a runaway boat. Seems much more reliable failsafe as it is directly wired into the ignition coil. Much easier to replace a few electronics for cheap then an entire boat. So my thoughts stand on that. I have burnt up speed controls and such before running in snow but those were in the 100s. The receiver for this is like $7 lol with the flysky.
