isn't the dakar truck just a slash with a different body? If its the same just search pre painted slash bodies on amazon and it will point you in the right direction. Just keep in mind that they are 3 or 4 times more expensive than the non painted bodies so be prepared for that. Check out the raptor bodies, they have been looking good to me. Painting isn't my cup of tea either. Its fun but i just have nowhere to do it without painting the side of my house or cars.
That's what I thought, but I looked (to provide one example) and a Pre-painted, pre-cut Flo-tek Fusion which specifically lists that it is for Slash and Slash 4x4, but when I look at the specs, it lists Length 596mm, Width 235mm, Height 152mm and Wheel Base 323mm while the Dakar lists its specs as Length 568mm, Width 296mm, Height 214mm and Wheel Base 335mm... maybe it is because I am new, but based on those specs, would that body fit on the Dakar? If there is some variability in what can/can fit are there any resources somewhere which would help a noob figure it out, or is it more a "if it says it fits a Slash, you're ok" type thing?
