I spent some time at the store last night and it was very useful to see in person all of things you all mentioned. The guy showed me how different bodies might look if I tried to install them on my car (how the narrower bodies look, how the body would need to be modified to fit (e.g. widening wheel wells), etc.). I saw a very cool looking body which I think would serve its purpose for me for now. It has a "racier" look than the square Dakar body, It has pre-painted graphics, but allows the buyer to paint all the other areas in their colour of choice. I attached a photo of it. It is hard to tell, but there are spots on here that are still clear... I think even I can handle a few coats of spray paint and it is a slash body so I won't have to modify anything to make it work (although I think it will need a different set of mounts, but they walked me through it and it seems pretty simple).
