The Mamba Max Pro has a selective BEC output (5v~7.2v). I don't know what the default setting is on the ESC, but check it out.

Update: MMP default BEC setting is 5.5 volts, and I believe you need Castle Link or Feild Link to change the settings.
Do you have a Castle Link?
