My most sincere condolences on your recent loss, Jerry. My feline comrade Sylvester lost his battle with cancer two weeks ago, so I have an idea of how you feel. It seems the older I get the harder these things hit me. When I was 25 you couldn't have made me cry with a bullwhip, but now, 30 years later, these furry little guys have taken complete control of the heartstrings, if you can dig it. Nancy goes in for a rabies shot next month and I already feel bad about having to make him do things he really doesn't want to do.
I hope your surviving furry friend is around for a very long time. It must be hard on her, too.
