One of the most asked questions at my events is how do I store and/ or transport my vehicles and parts/batteries/etc.
That is a loaded question is I have to admit:
A. How many tanks I have. (over 20)
B. Where they are stored. (in my garage in Arizona.... 90F degrees or so.)
C. I operate mostly Sherman/T-34 sized vehicles so my big boys often share a bigger box.
I tend to bring the lot to events as I consider "What else am I gonna do with them?" For example I thought I'd only bring 6 to my indoor event and ended up with 11. In all fairness I sold 2 and bought 1....
Normally I Buy whatever tool box is cheapest at the various Hardware and Home Stores and end up with the 22 inch Husky plastic boxes. These are great but my main complaint is they are a bit top heavy and muffin shaped. They don't always stack very well.
I have found a new system that seems to work better for me even if it costs a few extra dollars. I must preface this as I am in no way selling this particular product or brand. I just like how it works.
If you are at Home Depot, try looking at the Rigid interlocking tool box set up. I am using their short 22inch tool box, 22 inch crate, and 22inch tool boxes now and it has changed my whole process. They stack and interlock.
