Yes, the Rx...(just like the Tx for that matter) are "middle-tuned". That means they hook up a "high-band" RX to the oscilloscope and tune it for channel 48 and hook up the "low-band" RX and tune them for channel 20. Anywhere between 36-60 for the high-band and anywhere from 11-35 for the low band.
And, if you choose 20 or 48 then your tune should be "exact". The further you move away from those numbers the less precious the tune will be --- but within tolerance.
Thats the scientific facts...now the law...I have no idea about.
