Returned to the scene of the GRP incident and worked out what I hit ... a catseye / reflector on the road .
For some reason these ones are coloured blue and blend in with the road surface in the shadows .
Plus it was a bit further up the road than I thought .... you can blame my driving , not the tires !!!
Anyway , stayed out of the shadows and cracked 100 mph !!! ... Just !!!
