No, if you have a low band tx and low band rx, then you need a low band crystal, channel 11-35. If you have a high band tx, then you need a high band crystal, channel 36-60.

My understanding is you do not need to tune the rx. If you do, its better. The tx is a different issue.

Theoretically, you should be just replacing the broken/defective crystal.
