no, the light blue unfortunately is the primary color on the 1/72 scale model which is painted on first....since i'm painting the patterns in a negative, i have to paint the grey first, then the dark blue, and lastly the light blue...i know light colors come first, but in this case i only had the grey and dark blue. An additional reason why i went this route was because the jet has lots of curves, which force you to cut the wrap in order to fold around the fuse.
