What size are you replacing the hardware with, 2-56 or 4-40? I see that the supplied push rods bend very easy
I'm using 4-40 rods along with Dubro large scale T horns and E/Z connects. A bit overkill but I don't think the stock hardware is up the task, especially if you opt for a high powered motor up front.
