I wouldn't call those reviews "getting trashed". The 5625 is a good servo. The guy who's servo crapped out on him was just unlucky. Is the 5625 a servo one would use in a race rig? NO! Would it suffice in your ECX? Certainly.
Like I said, the Solar servo does have great performance for the price. But you might have to buy several of them to get one good one. In which case you could have bought one good Hitec and be done with it.
