I Found your Youtube on this plane and thought I would follow your progress in this project. And the tailwheel do you think you could install a retract tailwheel easily or would you have to chop up the tail to much?
Hey local! The gear hold up to their 80" dauntless, so Im assuming they will do fine. They feel well built to me.
Id have to measure them.
I think its possible for a retractable tail wheel, I dont know how the balance is without one yet, so Ill report on that tomorrow hopefully. I dont think youd have to chop it up too bad. The hardest part will be matching the covering.
