The plane was picked up by my father more than +25 years ago from a friend who gave it to him as a gift. Yes the plane is covered in plastic film, I would love to retain this scheme, but I might want to make it a bit modern. I was thinking of spray painting it. And yes, you are right, it seems that they guy who built it was inspired by the super sicroly for sure. This version uses air retracts, they are very old but still might work. I will most likely order the canopy for the plane since the original one is long gone. Thank you for the helpful information!
