As we've seen from a rather prominent recent discussion on handling of email, the government is going to have to prove that you knew what you were and were not allowed to do. If you don't take any sort of test saying you knew what the rules were, it's awful difficult to hold you accountable for doing something in violation of rules they can't prove that you knew.

It's ironic that the sUAS fliers with the largest operational envelope (<= 200 mph, above 400', fly at night, fly greater than 55lbs, etc.) are never held accountable for proving they know anything about the airspace in which they're operating.
"saying you knew what the rules were",
What ever happened to "Ignorance of the law is no excuse"?

Just had an event "War Birds and Classics Over the Midwest" @ Fond da Lac WI.
About 150 to 200 pilots. (Rained out Sat & Sun). Any way if U look at the VOR 36 the Final Approach Fix (BAGOE) is when plotted on Google earth right over the South East corner of the Model Field. The altitude is 2700' MSL or about 900' AGL.
