OH, man!! That makes me feel SOOOOO much better about my own situation. 24 years ago we started a Christmas Village for the buffet - "just a small one, something simple that'll look nice". Yeah, that's what she said. Fast forward; it now covers 3/4 of the dining room, averages 4.5' deep, has over 150 buildings and well over 300 people doing various things, plus the trees, bushes, lights, etc etc etc.
Yeah, something simple.
BUT STILL FUN TO SET UP!
