If it were me, I'd throw a 550 size motor in there for sure. HobbyWing WP-SC8 with a Tenshock SC401V2 3800Kv motor or an EZRun 3400kv motor. I don't know what speeds you want. Nothing wrong with the Sidewinders , just make sure is the latest version.
it has a pretty decent brushed motor Thank goodness for my youtube i never remembered what it had its a orion 17x2 motor and 17t pinion, it just gets hot as most brushed motors do if you run it long at a time. i need to go brushless. i like to to be faster then it is now. my dad has the rustler with the 5700 KV motor in his its a rocket it doesn't have to be that fast. this thing will wheelie all day already
since that video i have changed it to 2,4 radio system and put bigger wheels and tired on it.
