I've had a HobbyWing SC8 and the 3400kv in my Evader for like a month now. Really like it! The torque is awesome, ESC stays fairly cool, motor gets good and warm (not too hot), but I over-gear by the books because I like to get the most out of it. Really easy to program, looks nice, and I only paid $120 shipped at Amain with a coupon code. The one and only thing that I didn't like was the motor terminals that you're supposed to solder wires to. (used Castle 4mm bullets and Deans wet noodle btw) They make it so that the wires have to come off the motor parallel to the face of end bell. In my situation the wires have to make a really sharp curve to pull them closer to the truck and not hanging out there to be grabbed by brush and debris. Still works great and no problems. Awesome combo for sure!
