RE: Anyone Else Have The BUYING PHOBIA ???
onthefly;
Honest! I flew with the Halo on. If that's not a addiction to this hobby, I don't know what is. Actually I did just as you said, I flew low and far out to the horizon in front of me. The landing was a piece of cake as the plane was low any ways. I wish I had pictures of that, it had to be the best ever seen. Lots of guys & gals there to see it and even they couldn't believe the landing was that good. That was only one flight. I quit after that as the neck really hurt and I didn't think I could pull off another flight with that thing on my head!!

I hate to be off topic, but in a sense it really isn't as you've got to be addicted to the hobby to go to these great lengths to fly. I'm very surprised at the out patient thing though. I have the rods & screws in my back over two disc's and a bone graft from the hip. Spent ten days in the hospital, 3 months in a back brace, a year and a half recovering and now I have to have it all over again because the first fusion didn't take!
But it won't stop me from flying. I will just bring my trusty lawn chair to the field and go from there! Talk about being hooked, this is nuts! Good luck with the neck healing, take lots of calcium!
