Didn't you say you had auto paint experience? Could you handle a stencil set? They're really more like masks, as they're adhesive backed like masking tape. Anyway, this is the stencil set for your tank

And don't forget the yellow band under the numbers. That should be pretty easy for you, just like a wide pinstripe on a car. I recommend that you spend the extra money for genuine Tamiya masking tape for this. You won't be sorry, and just about any decent hobby shop, including Hobby Lobby, will have it. Burnish it down real well with a q-tip.
