I had a flameout on a 200XBL on my Mig 29. I had use the Skymaster supplied felt clunk in the header and saddle tanks. I was lucky enough to make the runway. Put the whole system back up on the bench. Ran the file pump up to full power.
There is a surprisingly large amount of fuel going into a 200 size motor and you could see the walls of the UAT being sucked in, then after a few minutes the fuel in the UAT started to cavitate (boil) .
I removed the felt clunks and replaced.the UAT. Haven't had a single issue in 30+ flights. It's a great motor.
