I bet it could, and they are cheap enough to just try to see it it works, you can get a 3 axis one for about 12 bucks now a days. and if you have an old tail gyro I might do well keeping the turret pointing in a general direction while you maneuver the tank. I mean people put these cheapo gyros into RC drift cars to stabilize the steering during drifting. I have an old Align GP780 Im going to put in my King tiger to see how it does.
