the tork rods that andy gave me in the kit i believe came from the avonds f15 as they are mounted in a differant way using bearings on a mounting plate
so i thought i could use the same method but the tork rids are 90mm long from the tailerons to the control horn which gave me around 10/15mm of play
at the trailing edge without using any force ,which i thought was totally unacceptable ..
actually, that's not so bad. On my SM Vipers I can easily twist them 1/4" or even more.......have never fluttered or anything. On my Tams it was closer to 1/2", and they were tailerons....still flew good.
