I just saw the
news here and it was quite a nerve wrecking insight how these particular machines can be sabotaged in the middle of design and production. I can’t imagine
having a drone costing $800 to just break in mid-flight. Well the issue goes deeper into production lines that makes used of 3D printing. Imagine if the part under production was a propeller for a real aircraft, then that would have cost lives and destruction of property. Then it becomes all the more important to have these designs secured and keep it in-tact and proper checks should have been done that the design file going to the 3D printer was not modified in any way.
