I've just received my M1A2 with metal gear box and should receive metal road wheels and sprockets (both with bearings) in a week or two. The tank itself is somewhat detailed and with 50 hrs or so of work it will look very good The details sprues are very poor or just wrong. Like the commander with what looks like WW2ish gear! I am currently rebuilding the M2 .50 cal (I have to start somewhere) and will be moving down the whole tank updetailing every piece that needs it. That said I am not a very psychorigid rivet counter but I like to see some rivets in the right area The Abrams is quite impressive I must say. I do love it already.
