Just read in on this thread. In reference to your full throttle/high speed stuff, keep in mind that it does tell you in the instruction manual not to exceed 180mph.. I'm not a speed nut either, I have a Cheetah Sp in mine ( 32lbs ) and I do not ever go wide open except on some vertical stuff for a short burst.. Awesome airplane and it's slick too. Speed will go up fast if you don't watch it. All that being said, I have seen some guy's fly the crap out of them and I have never seen one fail, but that's not for me...

cool. i was going to turn down the p-140 i have but was advised not to . this plane will teach me more discipline with the throttle. i had a baby boomer with a p-80SE and always had a hard time resisting those full throttle low passes and outta sight climbs. the thing that still has me concerned is the elevator servo setup. i wished they could have done something different that would have been better rather than rely on mini servos. i chose JR's because i feel they give me the most confidence. there's a alarm system in the xbus menu that gives you the ability to set alarms if you push the servos to hard an alarm will warn you. i'm working on figuring that out. also i did see that 180 warning and i'm putting an airspeed sensor in the viper. that to has an alarm that will warn you as well as the altitude sensor i have as well
