Hi all,
New to 3d flying. I have been prop hanging on the sim, then on a night Visionaire foamy, and am now flying a GoldWing Yak 54 e 57" model. It is powered by Hacker 14XS 5s and the recommended 15x8 prop. I spent today checking C of G and It flies with just a slight touch of down elevator when inverted.
When I try to prop hang it falls towards the nose. I use all the elevator to try and hold it vertical. If I use a bit more throttle to help the elevator bite, it climbs out.
I am wondering if it is my flying or if it is a question of the way I have it set up?

Thanks for your reply. Yes this is what I suspected...lots of practice needed! The confirmation from yourself meant I could focus on flying and forget set up for a bit. I went flying today and it was 5mph winds so felt quite different. I was able to get the plane's nose properly vertical without it falling forward and hold it while it drifted down wind. I think practice and a little experimentation with the C of G will do it.
