I took the the right side apart as it is the worst. The spring is .310 O.D. and 2.77" long.



The amount that the strut moves inside the main post is about 1/2" so the spring does not compress much until the strut bottoms out. I added a 3/8" extension spring to pre load the spring for now but that is just a temp fix.

I am working with Century Spring Co. out of California to get a custome replacment sring with a bit more holding strength.
