Jim, thanks for the explanation. I just got a 4*120 kit NIB, which I'm hoping will be my "Winter" project (there are no winters down here ). My truck bed is only 73" long so I'm stuck with either shortening the wing, as some have suggested, or doing the two-piece mod. I'm leaning much more towards the two-piece mod, now that I know you've done it.
