Do you do scale? Unusual projects?
I'd like to think its catching on, especially as model aviation appears to be on the brink of changing drastically. What I mean here is that long standing companies and their products are getting more and more scarce for my particular interests... As far as scale is concerned, I think that emulating scale aircraft with static, plastic model construction and detailing is what brought me into the hobby (model aviation in general) in a way.
I don't do C/L scale on the same level - only some simplistic, 1/2A profile scale creations so far. Just like knowing there are others out there that build to fly - not necessarily buy to fly.
Really dig the golden era of racing where it seemed some of the best looking designs for airplanes were conceived, aerodynamic form followed function, and color schemes made sense.
Is the Gee Bee Model E an old Coverite kit conversion from R/C?
What about the Model Z - is it an Adrian Page kit?
