It's not the price of the tk60, it's the computer part. I won't buy any board that I have to connect to a computer before I can use it. My hobby is RC Tanks, not rc computers. The tk22 and the IBU2 do everything I need them to do. Of course, almost all my tanks are airsoft and that makes a big difference.

Just to make clear. TK60 don't need any pc connection. IT CAN yes , but no need to . Only thing you need to , again if you want to, is , say you swopp to DKLM gearboxes, use the sony remote to set mixer mode on/off. Ore you want to use it in a tamiya, set recoil settings, again with the remote , and etc .
