I don't have access to a paved runway, so grass is my only option, so I was thinking that keeping the weight as low as possible was the best path to follow.
I would likely skip the cockpit and pilots.
While searching the web, I did stumble across a PC-21 from Kingtech Luxembourg, JMB Jets, which is slightly larger than the Skymaster but significantly lighter (14kg wet) but it is all built up/balsa construction. It was flown at JetPower from the YouTube videos I came across.
