Sadly it seems they have no choice .... then price to profit, if they cannot profit ..... they fold.
Markets change as well ...... for kit manufacturers, the number of prospective customers is dwindling as newer generations opt to " buy and fly " as opposed to those who prefer to " build and fly ".
I still build .... mostly small planes from planes ....... small because of the materials available to me locally.
I guess I could online or mail order ... but I choose to support the local supplier so he will be there when I need him.
