Amazon also sells 1/16 tanks, parts and batteries. You will pay a bit more, but you can look at a lot of models just to see what is out there. Also look at the Imex-Taigen on line catalog (www.taigentanks.com) and Tamiya's web site. 1/16 scale is a nice manageable size that can weigh up to 15+ pounds with tons of detail parts available. I have tried a few of the smaller scale tanks and to my mind they just look like toys. There is not much available in 1/6 and what is available is very expensive . You will not find much help solving problems with 1/6 tanks while I don't think there is a question or problem with a 1/16 tank that can't be answered or solved by the members of this site. You are forewarned that if you try this that no one stops at just one or two tanks (I have 11) and each new one tends to cost more then the last one. Best of luck. jot
