The wings have been joined and the center section glassed. I installed mounts for individual wing servos. That will leave more room to work in the fuse and give better ability to locate equipment as needed for CG control as opposed to a center servo with torque rods. I will probably end up mounting stuff further forward than the previous guys since the TD .09 weighs a lot less than a full house Magnum .15 w/muffler. Have spent lots of time shaping and sanding the wings, tail, and control surfaces. Note that I tapered the ailerons forward like rainedave did on the prototype. Trying to get a little done each day when possible.
On a non-1/2A side note, I picked up this discontinued E-Flite Rare Bear when I was at the hobby shop the other day. The box rode home strapped to the motorcycle seat.
They are getting pretty scarce to find these days and I was surprised to see it on the shelf behind some newer stuff. Should be a hoot to fly once I get some appropriate batteries.
