All this mixing stuff sounds like an over-the-top solution....like HMJETS said - simple with Futaba using a seperate channel for the nose steering. If you can do it the same way on your Spectrum, then just go that way....using the Dual rate setup and simply controlling what you want with your retract switch.

......just remember to take note of Steve's little lesson (which ever method you adopt) when you suffer a gear fail safe in the air.....if you don't switch the retracts switch, you will not have steering on the ground....
