A 1.3M glider should come in quite light. As in somewhere around 250 to at most 280gms? So that motor is overkill for the amount of power it will provide for such a glider. And with smaller gliders being sensitive to weight a lighter motor would be a nicer option. Maybe something

The Kv value is what determines the size of prop within a size range of motors. An 8 inch folding prop is not a bad size for a 1.3M glider. A lower Kv would require a larger prop. I'm not sure I'd want to go any larger so something around Kv= 1400 to 2000isn't a bad option. It results in a prop used with a 2S pack being of a size that is in tune with the size of the model.
