Dan, no one knows the Spektrum gyro module yet, but I doubt it will have the features and accuracy of the Powerbox or Cortex gyros (yet). Furthermore the Mercury has:

- GPS regulated gyro gain
- a built-in door sequencer
- two built-in regulators
- servo matching
- an external display
