Hello capt crunch, i solved my 2 degree ofset problem mounting my dle 35 ra on my dynaflite super decathlon. I was using the top view of the plan and the cowl drawing as a guide. It was much too long in reality. So, the farther out you get from the firewall the wider the gap between the actual centerline & the 2 degree offset. Using the plan drawing i had to ofset engine almost off the firewall.
I drew a new cowl plan based on my fiberglass cowl & the length of the dle engine. Everything worked out o,.k
& now my engine will exit @ the cowl center.
