No, I use a small foam roller and roll a light but wet coat on the entire foam face, no pooling. I do the same for the sheeting, if there is glass or carbon layups involved, I will roll a light wet coat on every other ply and then place the skins down and vacuum. Aircraft Spruce & Specialty sells a very low viscosity epoxy resin system with a long pot life, it is E-Z Poxy laminating system, you have three hardeners to choose from, and I use the E-Z -87 hardener because it gives me hours of pot life at ambient 70 degrees F. allowing me plenty of time to get everything bagged down.
