Can only recommend that when you break in the engine you mount and run it with all 3 cylinders in top position. Make your test stand so you can rovolve the engine 120 degree.
You will never get the bottom two cylinders broken in.
I have the engine mounted in the plane but I think I can set the plan in my stand and run it upside down, and even rotate it a bit.
I will test it out and see if that will work comfortably.
