Let me know if I could help you in anyway. I have built a few kits and depending what you want to do OR want to expect from your first purchase maybe I can give some pointers OR lead you to those that I know have the solution.

Every kit is different and has it's areas of needing an upgrade but just as a kit, the Tamiya is a great start.
