I used to instruct small college classes to learn to fly indoor r/c and then we flew in the old basketball arena. I always had females in my classes and they learned slightly differently than the males, but by much. I never had any problems with them. Males were better all the way around because they like to do stuff they think they're not supposed to, and always thought I wasn't noticing. This was especially true when I procured 4 coax helicopters that had dogfighting capabilities. Pretty much the same was true when I taught kit building but a couple of the females were very good at building.
