I never flew gas engines. A friend of mine had one of the Byron Pitts with a gas engine. He got a gas line leak and the front end of the plane melted away. Since then I have never had a foam plane. I do yous foam from wings. I usually sheet them or glass them. I did make about 12 jets using foam to make plugs. I still have most of the molds and plugs. Isn't worth making anything with them today, can't compete with Chinese The Epoxy I use is about $150 for just over a gal. But it's a lot better than WEST
