Passed by not too far from you, Joe. Rode motorcycles with a friend heading from Eastern NM to Springfield, MO. We split up in Miami, OK, I headed north on KS-7 to Pawnee Station, KS, then on to US-69 to Overland Park, KS, to Kansas City, MO. Real pretty farmland and portions of Kansas roads were not on my GPS, looked like I was riding through someone's corn field. Good thing I had my road atlas. Your home looks like a familiar site here in NM and TX Panhandle.

Regarding RC World, I remember seeing the ads, buy a home and fly your RC plane there. Kind of sad that the real estate promise soured. If sold illegally, is there no legal recourse? I'd think one would be better off finding a micropolis (small city / village / town with adequate services not too far away), where there is less fuss, no planned communities, and no encumbrances or reservations about model flying.
