Noah - HELP. I have come to a cold, full stop. I even went back through this thread and began reviewing all of your posts on mounting the horizontal stab along with the posts and photos of Larry, Pete, etc.. Noah, I see where in your Post # 315, you made a statement that has confused me greatly. You said that the rudder post, passes through the horizontal stab near the trailing edge. I don't see that in Charlies' notes nor has any of the guys spoke about it. Stretching out my imagination by carefully observing your photos, it looks like anywhere from a 1/4" or less is cut into and out of the horizontal stab thus allowing the rudder post to past through and glue flat to the rear of the fuse. Now I am also confused as to where the horizontal stab is to be positioned on its mount. I understand the 2+ deg of incidence. I measured on the plans that from Former F10, the front of the horizontal stab is approx. 20" away. But then the horizontal stab will stick out a fair amount from the rear of the fuse excluding the width of the rudder post not being there. Give me a bit of guidance guys as to where the horizontal stab should be mounted and how much is cut out of the horizontal stab. Thanks Guys. Chic
