Water, and salt, gets into places you can't imagine. Compressed air helps. I'm assuming you mean in the can. A good air compressor is even better. Don't get a cheap one. The kids burned my first one up cleaning their RC cars. Didn't let it stop running for close to an hour.
Here's a little trick for you. Do you have any floor vents that blow hot air into the room from the furnace? After blowing them off, park them over a vent. Completely dry in no time, and added some humidity to the house. Lol.
