Auxilary smoke tank
I am installing a Merlin MKII 160 in mine, i ordered the split double tank for the extra fuel capacity so I can fly for a reasonable amount of time and still have a reserve..However I am putting smoke on it as well, so Im gonna share what I found. I tried multiple tanks, and found that the 24OZ. Dubro tank is gonna be about the biggest tank your gonna place easily. It fits perfect in the tray opening directly under the main tank. One installed and plumbed, some velcro on top of the smoke tank, and on bottom of the main tank will lock the smoke tank in place. I hysoled mounting tabs on my main tank that will screw into the main mounting plate, locking the main tank in place. I placed my smoke pump in the tray behind where I placed the smoke tank I had to notch one slot of the plate to get it slid in, I then epoxied in some wood mounting rails and screwed the smoke pump into those rails so it can easily be removed/serviced.
